Grow

Need a few changes and tweaks each month, plus assurance that your website is working properly when people visit?

That’s why we offer our Grow Plan: premium hosting, daily server-level backups, and monthly software updates, spam checks, and malware checks.

We are available by email to answer any questions, plus we will make up to 5 small website changes each month.

Accelerate

Our Accelerate Plan is for businesses that want to accelerate their growth with regular updates and top level security.

The Accelerate plan includes premium hosting; daily backups, both on server and offsite; weekly software updates, spam checks, and malware checks.

We are available for support by email and phone, and we will make up to 15 small changes each month.

Our Website Management Onboarding Process

Before we accept your website onto one of our Website Management Plans, we need to make sure that we have a thorough understanding of the tools and software used; the current state of the software; and any underlying problems that may need fixing.

Health Check

Websites are not all built in the same way, and sometimes the software used is out of date or broken. Our Website Management Health Check is designed to take a deeper look at your website, how it has been built, the plugins in use, security setup and more.

Health Check Report

After completing our Website Management Health Check, we’ll provide you with a report of our findings and any action points that we recommend taking care of. As part of the service, you get one hour of our time included, so we can use this towards resolving any issues that we’ve found.

Start Management Plan

Your site will now be migrated to our hosting (unless you opt out of hosting) and added to our Website Management schedule. You no longer need to worry about taking care of your site, and our support service will be available to you for as long as you stay on the Website Management Plan.

We need to make sure that your website is healthy and in good order, so that we can then continue to help you manage the website on an ongoing basis.

After completing our Website Management Health Check, we’ll provide you with a report of our findings and any action points that we recommend taking care of. As part of the service, you get 1 hour of our time included, so we can use this towards resolving any issues that we’ve found.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to set up my Website Management Plan?
Once you sign up and provide login details, we’ll have your Website Health Check scheduled within 1-2 business days. We will also have a kick off meeting with you, to make sure that we understand your needs.

Will you manage my WordPress membership website?
Absolutely. You will need to choose our Grow Plan or Accelerate plan, because membership websites take more resources for us to manage, test and keep running smoothly.

I am happy with my hosting. Will I get a discount if I don’t move to Kinsta?
We purchase our hosting in blocks, so that we can include hosting in our plans. Like with our premium plugins, we will be charged even if you do not use the hosting. Because of this, there is no discount for not using our Kinsta hosting.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc.?
Our Website Management Plans are preventative care, so we do our best to prevent anything from happening. However in the event that your website has a major issue, we will be there communicating with the web hosting company on your behalf.

We do not make guarantees that your website will not be hacked, but we will do everything within our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.

What is considered a “Small Change” and how long do they take?
To request a small change, you simply send an email to our support desk with the specific change you want done, and we will schedule it in. It will usually be completed within 2 business days.

Examples of a small change include:

Adding a new page of content that you provide

Adding a video link to a page

Fixing typos or update details that have changed

Editing or deleting an existing page

Modifying a newsletter subscription form

Adding, removing, or changing a user account

Adding, editing, or deleting a product on your eCommerce site

Creating a download button for a downloadable file

Adding, editing or deleting a blog post with content that you provide

Replacing an image with a new one that you provide

Small changes do not include requests for new features to your website involving installing a new plugin, designing a new page, creation of content, or graphic design.

Do monthly time and changes roll over?
Each month, we reserve your place in our queue and resources. Because of this, monthly time and changes do not roll over.

What if I need more support time?
If you have a change or task that will need more than your included small changes, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan.

How do strategy calls work?
You jump onto our online calendar system and book an hour that works for you.

During the call, we can talk through any questions you have, issues you are trying to solve, do a little bit of training, or even show you how to make a site change that you may be struggling with.

Zoom videoconferencing is our preferred medium, so that we can see each other and do screen shares if needed, but we can also do these calls by phone.

Can I really cancel at any time?
Absolutely. We are all about a positive relationship with you and your website, so we would be sad to see you go, but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in.

Request a cancellation via email and we will immediately stop the next payment.

You didn’t build my website. Can I still sign up for a Website Management Plan?
For sure. Our first activity will be to conduct a Website Health Check. This will make sure that we understand how your site was built, and identify any problems that will need to be fixed.

Why are there so many updates?
Sometimes it can seem like there are software updates every second day.

This is a good thing because as popular as websites are with business owners like you, they are equally popular for hackers to try and get into sites. That is why regularly updating is the single best way to ensure you are protected.

Plus, as new technology and web services are released, you want to make sure that your website can take advantage of the improvements.

What information will you need from me?
Once you have signed up, we will ask you to fill out a form with your website administrator login, as well as login details for your host. We will also schedule a call with you, to talk through anything else we might need.
